The INIKEA Rainforest Rehabilitation Project, a 6-hour drive from Sukau in the Kinabatangan — 18,500 hectares of forest badly burned by El Niño-driven wildfires in the early 1980s and since replanted with native dipterocarps using funding from IKEA's owners, on a similar model to Infapro at Danum. Despite the scarred history, 1StopBorneo Wildlife's guided groups here have racked up a strong big-cat record: of roughly 25 visiting groups, marbled cat has turned up once and Sunda clouded leopard four times, alongside regular western tarsier, binturong, Sunda stink badger and a range of civets on night drives.
