Borneo Nature Lodge

Mid-range riverside lodge

A mid-range, eco-minded lodge on the bank of the Kinabatangan River in Sukau, with its own jetty, restaurant and boardwalk, and a favourite with serious birders and mammalwatchers because of the flexibility to arrange extended cruises beyond the standard outings. The lodge runs its own river cruises, which past guests single out as the highlight of a stay, and it markets an eco-friendly approach — guests can even cycle for an hour to power their room's fans and lights. A newer sister property, Borneo Nature Lodge 2, is listed separately in Sukau, so check which one you are booking.
