About the Rose Lanternfly

Named for the pink-to-rose flush across parts of its wings, distinguishing it from the more typically brown or green-toned lantern bugs found alongside it.

Recorded widely across the western and central Indonesian islands as well as Borneo, making it one of the more broadly distributed Scamandra species covered here.

Not assessed for conservation status.
