About the Pochazia sinuata

A ricaniid planthopper in the genus Pochazia, named for the wavy ('sinuata') margin or banding of its wings, found on shrub and sapling foliage in lowland forest and forest-edge habitats.

Feeds on plant sap and, like other Ricaniidae, is often found in small clustered groups on a stem, moving with short hops when disturbed. Not assessed for conservation status.
