A flatid planthopper named for the sickle-shaped ('falcata') curve of its forewing margin, a distinctive silhouette among the more evenly rounded Flatidae it shares forest with.
Rests on leaves and slender stems in lowland and hill forest, relying on green or bark-toned camouflage and stillness rather than flight to avoid predators. Not assessed for conservation status.
