Lowland rainforest

Named for the crossing lines patterning its wings, a member of the genus Saiva that is recorded in Borneo from East Kalimantan, within a much broader range extending west to India and Indochina.
Smaller and less flamboyantly coloured than the larger Pyrops species it shares forest with, relying on subtler bark-toned camouflage on tree trunks.
