A bush frog with predominantly green colouring, part of the large genus Philautus, which skips the free-swimming tadpole stage entirely — eggs laid in damp vegetation hatch directly into miniature froglets.
Found in low forest vegetation, calling from perches close to the ground at night; like most Philautus, close to indistinguishable from several relatives without a recorded call.
