A tiny, virtually tailless, mouse-like Bornean mountain endemic that creeps through leaf litter and dense undergrowth close to the forest floor.
Extremely secretive and rarely seen, it is detected almost entirely by its very high-pitched, insect-like trilling song at higher elevations.
