Large Wren-Babbler

A large, dark, long-legged wren babbler that walks rather than hops across the forest floor, its plumage a rich chestnut-brown streaked with black.

Now Near-threatened as a lowland forest specialist, it is extremely shy and far more often detected by its loud, ringing song than by direct observation.
