Water Skink (sp.)

A placeholder entry for a photographed skink identified as one of Borneo's semi-aquatic water skinks (genus Tropidophorus) but not confidently identifiable to species from the photo alone. These skinks are typically found on rocks in and beside forest streams and are strong swimmers, distinguished from one another mainly by fine scale and pattern differences.

If you can help pin down the exact species from the photo, or have additional images of the same individual, a species-level identification would be very welcome.
