A slim, pale sandy-brown dove with a black-and-white half-collar on the nape, closely resembling other collared doves but slightly smaller and paler.
Found in open and cultivated habitats at the edge of its range in Borneo, feeding on seeds and grain scattered across bare ground and farmland.
