A pale, elegant tern with long tail streamers and a delicate pink flush to the breast in breeding condition, occurring around Bornean reefs and coasts as a scarce visitor.
Hunts by plunging steeply for small fish from height, often associating with other terns over baitfish schools, and generally scarcer than similar-looking relatives in the region.
