A rare/accidental vagrant to Borneo, this small, plain brown swallow with a distinctive brown breast band breeds colonially in burrows in sandy riverbanks far to the north.
Any Bornean sighting would likely be a wintering or passage bird hawking insects low over open water or wetland habitat alongside other swallow species.
