A Bornean-associated horseshoe bat named for its horseshoe-shaped noseleaf, part of a large and taxonomically complex family of echolocating insectivorous bats found across the island.
Roosts in caves and other sheltered sites by day, hunting insects on the wing at night using high-frequency echolocation calls inaudible to humans.
