Straw-headed Bulbul

A large bulbul with a distinctive straw-yellow head and rich musical song, historically common along wooded rivers and streams across Southeast Asia.

Now Critically Endangered, having been trapped to near-extinction across much of its range for the cagebird trade because of its prized song, with Borneo now among its last strongholds.
