A grey-bodied laughing-thrush with a warm chestnut cap and black facial mask, usually encountered in lively, vocal flocks working through hill forest undergrowth.
One of the more frequently encountered laughing-thrushes on Borneo's mountains, often giving away its presence with loud, cackling group calls before it comes into view.
