A whip-nesting tree frog in the genus Polypedates, building a foam nest on vegetation overhanging water — the foam protects the eggs until they hatch and tadpoles drop into the pool below.

Found on vegetation near ponds and slow water, nocturnal, feeding on invertebrates, with a call typical of the loud, repetitive Polypedates group.
