A widespread and adaptable pipistrelle found across much of Southeast Asia, tolerant of disturbed, urban and cultivated habitat as well as natural forest edge.
Nocturnal, often roosting in buildings, roof spaces or tree hollows, and one of the more likely small bats to be seen hawking insects around outdoor lights at lodges after dark.
