A small flying squirrel named for prominent facial whiskers, part of the diverse Petinomys group of small Sundaic gliding squirrels found across Borneo's lowland forest.
Nocturnal, gliding between trees and feeding on leaves, fruit and bark. Field identification against related Petinomys species is difficult without a very close view.
