A close relative of Hose's pygmy flying squirrel and similarly among the smallest gliding mammals known, with correspondingly little published field data on its Bornean populations.
Nocturnal and canopy-dwelling, presumed to have a diet and gliding behaviour broadly similar to other small flying squirrels. Not a species to expect on a standard itinerary.
