A plain olive-brown tailorbird with a rufous crown and tail, common in lowland forest edge, secondary growth and gardens across Borneo.
Like other tailorbirds it stitches large leaves together with plant fibre to form a concealed cup nest, and gives a loud, repeated chipping call.
