Unidentified Muroid Rodent

A placeholder entry for a photographed rodent that could only be placed in the superfamily Muroidea — the group containing rats, mice and their many relatives — and not confidently identified further from the photo alone. Borneo hosts dozens of muroid rodent species, from tiny tree mice to large spiny rats, many of which look extremely similar without a clear view of features such as tail length, foot structure or dentition.
