A close relative of the Yellow Wagtail, formerly treated as part of that species complex and distinguished by a green-tinged head and yellow throat, occurring in Borneo as a winter visitor.
Shares similar habits with other yellow wagtail forms, feeding on open ground and among livestock, and best separated from related forms by careful attention to head pattern.
