White-fronted Falconet

One of the smallest raptors in the world, barely larger than a sparrow, with bold black-and-white plumage and a Bornean-endemic distribution restricted to the island's forests.

Hunts large insects and occasionally small birds from an exposed perch at forest edges and clearings, often in pairs, with quick sallying flights reminiscent of a shrike.
