Meristogenys sp.
A placeholder entry for a photographed frog identified as one of Borneo's torrent frogs (genus Meristogenys) but not confidently identifiable to species from the photo alone. Meristogenys is a Bornean-centred genus of stream-adapted frogs whose tadpoles have large sucker-like oral discs for clinging to rocks in fast currents; the adult frogs themselves are notoriously difficult to separate in the field.
If you can help pin down the exact species from the photo, or have additional images of the same individual, a species-level identification would be very welcome.
