One of the largest frogs in Borneo, a powerfully built fanged frog found along larger forest rivers and streams.

Nocturnal and predatory, taking large invertebrates and smaller vertebrates including other frogs; its size alone makes it one of the more impressive amphibian sightings on a night walk.
