A slender tree frog with a pointed, angular snout and a dark mask-like marking through the eye that gives the species its name, part of the genus Leptomantis, closely related to the Rhacophorus flying frogs.
Nocturnal and arboreal, found on vegetation near streams and pools, breeding via a foam nest on overhanging leaves above water.
