One of Borneo's smallest litter frogs, with fine roughened skin texture along the flanks giving the species its name, found in leaf litter near clear hill streams.

Nocturnal and easily overlooked given its tiny size and cryptic brown colouring. Best located at night by call rather than by active searching.
