The smallest member of its genus, among the tiniest bats recorded in Borneo, with the same dense, woolly fur texture shared by all Kerivoula species.
Roosts in curled dead leaves and tight foliage, foraging for tiny flying insects within dense understorey vegetation. Its minute size makes direct sightings very unlikely.
