A small, delicately built bat named after the naturalist Thomas Hardwicke, with dense, woolly fur typical of its genus. One of the more frequently recorded Kerivoula species in Bornean forest.
Roosts by day in curled dead leaves, furled banana leaves or similar tight foliage, and forages within dense understorey vegetation for small flying insects, flying more slowly and manoeuvrably than open-space bat species.
