White-bellied Sea-Eagle

A large, striking eagle with white head, breast and tail contrasting against grey wings, found along coasts, large rivers and estuaries throughout Sabah.

Hunts fish, sea snakes and waterbirds, often seen soaring high on thermals above rivers such as the Kinabatangan, or perched prominently in a tall waterside tree.
