A common resident swallow across Borneo, glossy blue-black above with a rufous throat and only a shallow tail fork, unlike migratory Barn Swallows.
Nests on buildings, bridges and cliff faces, often close to human habitation, and hawks insects low over open ground, water and coastlines.
