One of the most widespread and familiar geckos in the tropics, pale and translucent-skinned, extremely common on buildings, walls and lit areas around human habitation.
Nocturnal, hunting insects drawn to artificial light, and highly successful at colonising new areas — now found across much of the tropical and subtropical world well beyond its native range.
