A handsome thrush with a bright orange head and underparts contrasting with slate-grey upperparts, walking with confident hops across shaded forest floor.
Regularly seen foraging in leaf litter for earthworms and insects, it is one of the more colourful and visible thrushes in Borneo's lowland and hill forests.
