A large, robust gecko with striking blue-grey skin covered in orange spots, and an extremely loud, far-carrying two-note call ('to-kay') repeated many times, often heard well before the animal is seen.
Nocturnal, an aggressive hunter of large insects and even small vertebrates, with a strong bite if handled. Found on tree trunks, cave walls and buildings, and one of the largest and most vocal geckos in Southeast Asia.
