White-banded Narrow-disked Gecko

A slender gecko in the same genus as the much larger Tokay Gecko, marked with a pale band across the body and named for its comparatively narrow toe discs.

Nocturnal, hunting insects on tree trunks and vegetation in forest habitat; considerably less bulky and less frequently encountered around buildings than its well-known relative.
