A pale, translucent-skinned house gecko missing a claw on one digit of each foot (the source of the common name), widespread around buildings and forest edge across Southeast Asia.
Nocturnal, hunting insects attracted to lights around buildings and lodges, and able to reproduce asexually in some populations — females can lay viable eggs without mating.
