A small, subtly coloured parrotfinch with olive-green upperparts and a warm tawny-orange breast, found at forest edge and grassy clearings in Borneo's highlands.
Less flashy than its bronze-green relative, it moves in small quiet flocks feeding on ripening grass seed heads, favouring montane clearings around Kinabalu and other high ranges.
