A common, warty-skinned toad with prominent bony ridges across the head, among the most widespread and adaptable amphibians in Asia, thriving in gardens, villages and disturbed habitat as readily as forest edge.
Nocturnal, foraging for invertebrates around outdoor lights and human habitation as much as natural habitat — very likely the toad most visitors will actually encounter, often right around lodge buildings after dark.
