A large, glossy black drongo with a prominent crest and two long tail streamers ending in twisted 'rackets' — one of the most vocal and acrobatic birds in Bornean forest, an accomplished mimic of other species' calls.
Often leads mixed-species foraging flocks, hunting flying insects and sometimes small vertebrates in agile sallies, and frequently gives away the location of quieter species through its varied, mimicking calls.
