An all-black drongo with a deeply forked tail, a familiar sight perched on wires, fences and cattle in open farmland, often seen chasing off much larger birds with aggressive aerial sallies.
Feeds mainly on insects flushed by grazing animals or machinery, and in Borneo is most often recorded as a migrant or scarce visitor to open lowland habitats.
