A large, glossy, strongly arboreal skink endemic to Borneo, considerably bulkier than the smaller tree skinks it shares forest habitat with, and more often seen well up a trunk or in the canopy than at ground level.
Diurnal, with a broad diet including invertebrates, small vertebrates and fruit; alert and quick to retreat around the far side of a trunk when disturbed.
