Dayak Blue Flycatcher

A Bornean-endemic blue flycatcher of the mountains, males deep blue above with an orange throat and breast, closely resembling lowland Cyornis but replacing them at higher elevation.

Hunts insects in short sallies from a low perch in montane forest understorey, typically solitary and, like many forest flycatchers, more easily heard than seen.
