Lesser Short-nosed Fruit Bat

A small, common fruit bat with a short muzzle and a pale line often visible along the shoulder, roosting in modified leaf tents, dense foliage or building eaves rather than caves.

Nocturnal, feeding on fruit, nectar and pollen, and one of the more frequently encountered bats around lodges and forest edges given its tolerance of disturbed habitat.
