A large, all-black crow with a heavy, arched bill and a distinctive deep, throaty call, often found at higher elevations than Borneo's other resident crows.
An adaptable omnivore taking insects, fruit, small vertebrates and carrion, ranging from hill forest to montane towns, and among the largest and most vocal corvids found on the island.
