A small rock gecko marked with dark spotting, part of the diurnal, day-active Cnemaspis genus that behaves quite differently from Borneo's many nocturnal geckos.
Active by day, found clinging to boulders, rock faces and tree trunks while hunting small invertebrates; like most Cnemaspis, best confirmed to species by close comparison as many look superficially similar and often have narrow, localised ranges.
