A small rock gecko named after the herpetologist Malcolm Kendall, part of the genus Cnemaspis — unusual among geckos for being active by day rather than at night.
Diurnal, found clinging to boulders and rock faces near streams, hunting small invertebrates; often boldly patterned, in contrast to the duller camouflage typical of nocturnal gecko species.
