One of Borneo's many small, smooth-scaled Calamaria reed snakes — harmless, burrowing snakes of leaf litter and loose soil, generally distinguishable from close relatives only by careful scale and colour-pattern examination.
Feeds on earthworms and other soft-bodied invertebrates, rarely seen above ground except when litter or soil is disturbed.
