A large, slender, nocturnal snake with big eyes and vertical pupils typical of the Boiga 'cat snakes', named for prominent enlarged front teeth.
Arboreal, hunting birds, eggs, lizards and small mammals at night. Mildly rear-fanged venomous — bites can cause local swelling but are not considered dangerous to a healthy adult.
