A compact, square-tailed swift with a white throat and rump band, closely tied to human settlements where it nests under eaves, bridges and ledges.
Highly gregarious, wheeling in noisy flocks over towns and open country while hawking flying insects, and one of the most familiar aerial birds around Bornean towns.
